Summary Our growing events division are looking for a Senior Field Sales Executive to source and develop new accounts and events for the business. Our portfolio of events include the Great Scot Awards, the Sunday Mail Sports Awards, The Scottish Accountancy Awards and the Young Scot Awards. Package Competitive salary + bonus 25 days + bank holidays Pension plan + flexible benefits Main Responsibilities Working directly for the Events Director you will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages across our portfolio of Newspaper and Corporate events. This will require both telesales and field sales to private and public sector organisations. You will be developing business with senior executives in some of the countrys largest organisations and selling to Directors, MDs, CEOs and Marketing Directors. The level of sponsorship deals will range from £6K - £200K and you will also be responsible for developing and executing new event ideas, with the support from the event delivery team. Ideal Candidate The role will involve new business sales and therefore it is essential candidates have significant relevant B2B sales experience, including experience selling within the corporate markets. You will have first class presentation skills together with a good knowledge of the Scottish corporate markets and a good understanding of business operations. Events and/or media sales experience is desirable, though not essential. This is a fast paced business and requires someone used to managing multiple sales projects and portfolios of clients. NB: Our hours of work are 9am - 5pm however you will be required to attend events as and when required outside business hours.
