Senior DevOps Engineer - Jenkins/GIT I am currently looking for a DevOps engineer to work based in Reading for a contract up until the end of the year. The Role This job specification is for DevOps Engineer with Jenkins experience and a passion for automation, quality and a lean/agile approach. The successful candidate will work closely with other automation engineers, operations, and developers to port our pipeline to Jenkins and then further mature the pipeline. Key responsibilities include: creating automation scripts using Jenkins, supporting engineering teams that are using these scripts, helping get others up to speed with Jenkins. This individual will play a critical part in the delivery of the best-in-class TV service. Required Experience and Qualifications - At least three years’ experience in build automation. - At least a year of Jenkins experience on real-world projects. - Experience building a continuous delivery pipeline. - Experience using GIT and artifact repositories (such as Artifactory or Nuget) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Demonstrates a passion for quality. - Ability to work independently and be self-driven.
