Our client is a well-known and respected provider of care services and strives to provide a high level of care across all of its homes. We are delighted to assist our client in looking for a passionate Senior Care Assistant who strives for excellence to join their team in the Perth area. The care home is well-established, purpose built and boasts many modern facilities. It has undergone a number of changes and is now enjoying a new Management structure to take it forward and realise its potential. There are many training opportunities, as well as the chance of career progression for candidates who can demonstrate the right ethos, values and high standards. The successful candidate will be required to support the management team to ensure the smooth running of the home on a daily basis. You will be able to build effective and credible relationships with residents, care teams, and relatives. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead your own team to provide personal care to residents, as well as supporting them to take part in a wide range of activities. You will ensure your team delivers excellent person centred care by helping each resident enjoy the highest possible quality of life within a safe and homely environment. In order to be considered for this role you must:. Hold SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or above and have medication training. Have experience of working in elderly care - especially with people with dementia. Have experience of developing interpreting and implementing care plans. Be empathetic towards older people.
