SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in a Special Needs school in Bradford. This post will be long term and temporary, with the potential of leading to permanent for the right person. The school is for students of various abilities, ranging from moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The post requires a talented SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff. All applicants must have experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and disabilities in an education or care setting. Additional training such as basic Makaton, British Sign Language or Team-Teach is desirable, but not essential. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher. You will also need to work inclusively, with children of all ages and varied needs, to promote diversity and encourage independence.
