A major leading SAP Consulting Partner are currently seeking experienced SAP EWM Consultants who will be responsible for leading, planning and execution during the delivery of an SAP implementation. Main Purpose of Role The successful candidate will be a SAP Supply Chain solution lead capable of designing and implementing SAP transportation, warehousing and distribution solutions. Specifically, the candidate will have knowledge and implementation experience of SAPs Extended Warehouse Management solution. Ideally they will also have knowledge of other third party Warehouse Management solutions such as Manhattan and Red Prairie. They will also understand how these solutions integrate with SAPs wider application suite components, specifically ECC and Transportation Management. Key Responsibilities Day to day activities include: : Speaking the language of our customers business, i.e. candidates will have sector specific knowledge of the Sectors we currently operate in, i.e. Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Retail, Travel and Transportation and Utilities. : Providing thought leadership on Warehouse Management and Logistics Solutions : Leading and facilitating requirements gathering, design and gap analysis workshops to identify the optimum SAP solution : Analysis of legacy systems, business processes and data migration : Leading the configuration of the SAP solution, including coordinating remote configuration and development : Identification and resolution of integration issues : Working effectively with client and consultancy teams, including influencing key business stakeholders and other team members : Architecting and authoring warehouse and logistics solution content in support of sales activities. Person Profile: We are looking for candidates with the following: : Detailed implementation experience of the SAP EWM component, ECC:WM and other ECC Logistics Execution modules. : An understanding of how these solutions can be integrated to third party solutions through PI and consumed by users through one of SAPs current User Experience offerings, e.g. Fiori/UI5, mobile, etc. : An ability to explain the impact HANA will have on SAPs Warehouse and Logistics solutions. : Strong written and verbal communications skills that can influence at all levels including team members working remotely : Ability to demonstrable winning contributions to SAP related business development activity, specifically writing and presenting proposal content to prospective clients. : An awareness of SAPs SCM Transportation Management component (desirable) : Experience of working with third party products such as Red Prairie, Manhattan or other WMS solutions (desirable). Salary offered to the SAP EWM Consultant will be dependent on experience and grading in the interview process. The SAP EWM consultant must be fully mobile and can live anywhere in the UK but must have full rights to work in the UK without requiring work permit sponsorship. Our clients will require you to provide documentary proof, prior to joining the Company that you are entitled to live and work in the UK.
