Competitive hourly rate - NMC PIN reimbursed* - Welcome Bonus* We currently have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN to join our team based at Kings Bromley Care Home in Kings Bromley, Staffordshire. This position is 33 hours per week.Kings Bromley provides residential, nursing, palliative, dementia and physical disability care for older people. We offer expert care and support to people with a wide range of conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, heart and chest related problems, reduced mobility and dementia.Responsibilities:Undertake medication administration in accordance with best practice and prevailing NMC guidance and Embrace policies and proceduresCarry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, residents and visitors and report accidents as necessaryAssess, plan, implement and evaluate person centred care for each individual that meets their needs and demonstrates outcomes within the expected time-scalesEstablish and maintain good relationships with the people we support, their relatives and staffEnsure that individuals are safe-guarded in accordance with "No Secrets" legislation, Embrace policy and local safeguarding policyPromote and maintain a good working relationship with all external bodies and commissionersEnsure that the people we support are treated with privacy, dignity and respect at all timesMaintain a sound knowledge of Care Quality Commission (or equivalent) and all other regulatory standardsEnsure individuals receive a nutritious balanced diet and adequate hydration in accordance with their plan of careProvide coaching, training and support to junior staff when applicableBenefits:Competitive hourly rateNMC PIN reimbursed*Welcome Bonus*Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Child Care Vouchers28 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays*Free parkingCost of DBS / PVG CheckComprehensive induction and on-going training and developmentUniform provided* Terms applyRequirements:RGN or RMN with experience ideally within a nursing home environmentPassion for nursing and delivering high quality careValid NMC pin numberHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis position is subject to an Enhanced DBS / PVG Disclosure which will be completed upon successful application.
