PERMANENT ROLE Residential Support Worker for Young Adults A Residential Support Worker is needed for a permanent role in the Killingworth area, to assist young adults with special educational needs within a residential setting. The residential is part of a well-known foundation of schools based around the North East. The position will involve supporting young adults aged 18 to 24 years old in all aspects of daily living including personal care, scheduling activities to increase independence and self- esteem, supporting other care professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents, dealing with challenging behaviours and complex needs and working to the policies and procedures in place to ensure you are meeting all health and safety requirements. Some service users suffer from Epilepsy so having experience administering Buccal Midazolam is desired. As this is a permanent post, training will be provided for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills.
