Badenoch & Clark is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to join a large social care provider within the North East region. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a residential unit for clients with profound learning and those enduring mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large care provider to support them with a potential view of it becoming a permanent contract. Overview of responsibilities:. * Day to day management of an 18 bedded unit for those with learning and physical difficulties. * Manage and lead a team of 80 nursing and support workers. * Operate the service to meet CQC guidelines. * Coordinate the liaison between service users and external agencies. * Managing the care and safety of staff and service users. * Take an active role in the development and promotion of the service. * Monitor budgets and expenditure for the service. The successful candidate must have previous working experience managing a care service and working with vulnerable clients.
