They are employee focused and value their teams. Due to continuing business growth they now need an additional Quality Engineer to join their team. If you have the expertise they seek and are able to significantly make a difference then we want to hear from you. The Role The ideal candidate, who will be reporting to the Quality and Warranty Supervisor, will have responsibility for controlling Suppliers, Products and Quality Systems within the business. The key responsibilities of the role include; * Liaising with Design Engineers on component designs * Problem identification and resolution * Managing the Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) system * Whole Vehicle Type Approval auditing * Control of Deviations * Updating Quality Manual procedures * Visiting suppliers globally and carrying out associated work * Review drawings in detail between Suppliers, Design and Purchasing * Recommend manufacturing processes to suit our supplier base * Implement corrective actions and process improvements with suppliers Some travel to their facilities abroad may also be required so a willingness to travel will be needed. The Candidate * Good understanding of a broad range of manufacturing processes * Planning and organisational skills to manage workloads * Excellent problem solving skills * Experience with Microsoft Office * Driving license and valid passport due to travel with the job * A keen, confident and flexible approach Our client offers a competitive benefits package which includes an excellent pension scheme and other salary sacrifice benefits.
