A rare opportunity has arisen for a Product Design Engineer to work within this global company currently preparing for volume manufacture of biometric electronic products for the mobile and card markets. This role will support rapid growth at a strategic and tactical level. You will be based in Cambridge with international travel, we are seeking the most talented and passionate individuals to work in a Next Generation Technology company. Working with the product design team to design and develop exciting low frequency, mixed signal sensors to high customer specification. You will support the operations and manufacturing teams, whilst working with manufacturing partners. You will be responsible for design, development of electronics design at sensor and system level. Drive product design verification and testing. You will support the development of test systems for NPI and volume manufacturing. Qualifying products for mass production, you will liaise with the design team, customers and manufacturing partners including support NPI activities across a global development team. For your application to be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following:. - Qualified in Electronics Engineering or Micro-Electronics Design or Sensor Technology or related subject. - Knowledge of electronic circuit assembly and packaging methods for small integrated circuits or fingerprint sensors. - Experience in design verification of sensors or integrated circuits. - Experience in environmental and product qualification and documentation. - Programming languages such as Python, C/C++, VHDL and Matlab. - CAD, electronics design and simulation software. - Compliance with ISO9001.
