Pre-Sales Engineer – SaaS An exciting and highly ambitious independent software vendor, who is currently disrupting the SaaS Process Management space is currently looking to secure an experienced Sales Engineer to join the business. Working very closely with the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with organisations across the UK in a technical pre sales capacity, in order to secure sales of their much talked about software solution. You are likely to consider yourself a mid-level Sales Engineer , with experience working for a Software vendor, but still hungry to learn more. Although not involved in pure front line new business, you are extremely ambitious, hungry for success and offer a true entrepreneurial spirit. You love the thrill of the sale but do not want to lose the technical element or connection. You are comfortable selling to ‘the business’ as opposed to just the IT department and welcome relationship building at a senior level where the focus is on the ‘solution’ sale. You will be expected to spend only one day a week on the office with the rest of the week visiting potential new clients and with that in mind you will need to be organised and extremely self managing. Ideally, you will based somewhere North of London, up to around the Midlands area, with easy access to national routes. In return, a basic salary of £60k – £80k is on offer with an OTE of Circa £80 – £110k, which will be an uncapped scheme providing the opportunity to earn more.
