Platform Engineer / Middleware Engineer / DevOps (JMS RedHat Linux Automation). Hugely successful financial spread betting site is seeking a highly technical Platform Engineer to support JMS and other messaging platforms on a mission critical trading platform. As a Platform Engineer / DevOps your responsibilities will encompass delivering high quality production and test platforms, supporting regular agile releases. You'll support the platform infrastructure, web and middleware technologies, application servers, routing and messaging - ensuring both uptime and performance. The company is technology driven, you'll be working with DevOps practices, Continuous Delivery and Infrasrtucre-as-code on an evolving platform, helping to create a new Platform-as-a-Service. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technology including: Fiorano MQ, ActiveMQ, Redhat MRG, Kafka, Puppet, MCollective, Jenkins, Akamai, Apache, Varnish, Squid, Lightstreamer, Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Tomcat, Terracotta, Weblogic, App Dynamics, Check_mk (Nagios), F5, Ha_Proxy, Smartstack, Redis, Virgo, Ruby, RSpec/ServerSpec, Zookeeper.
