We are looking for a Plant Area Sales Assistant to join our team, who enjoys displaying plants to a high standard and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. Job Title: Plant Area Sales Assistant Ref: PFT Location: Plant Area The Gardener’s Garden Centre Rushmore Hill Type: Temporary, Full Time April – late June (contract extension may be possible) Days: Monday to Friday and alternate weekends with a day off during the week in lieu Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Reporting to: Plant Area Manager Rate of Pay: £7.20 per hour We have a very busy award winning plant area from which vast numbers of plants are sold. In order to cope with the huge seasonal peak that occurs in our business, we are looking for two enthusiastic people to join our plant sales team, working in the Herbaceous and Bedding Departments. Aim: To work with the existing team and help with the day to day running of the plant area. To work efficiently whilst promoting and exceeding customer care standards. Duties will include: · EPOS stock control · Putting plants on display · Labelling, watering · Advising customers on plants and gardening issues · Maintaining the smart appearance of the sales area · Adhering to all health and safety procedures · Other duties as part of the day to day running of the plant area Key Skills required for role: · &nbs
