We are looking to recruit market and social research interviewers who are interested in collecting data on a part time basis which will help our clients with key decision making. The aim of the role is to get people to participate in these social and market research surveys and will therefore entail visiting people at home, knocking on doors often without prior appointment and asking the public to provide their opinions. There is no selling at all within this position, however, we do reward our Interviewers with performance related bonuses. The research we collect shapes the country, so its important we speak to as many people in a target area as possible. You will therefore need access to transport (car or motorbike) and a broadband line so you can send your interviews back to us using the device provided. If you do not have any experience within this field, TNS are proud to offer a comprehensive 12 week training plan which teaches new Interviewers key skills such as door step technique. In addition to this, you will also be fully supported, and mentored by our teams who are available as and when you need them. To be successful within this role confidence in meeting new people, a professional approach and an interest in public opinion is key. As you will be engaging with the general public, a good level of spoken and written English is also required. TNS can offer you:. -Flexibility with working hours. You will be working for TNS on a part time casual basis. Our Interviewers usually work 6 hours a day (between 12pm-9pm) and a minimum of 2 days a week. Different types of work offer different types of flexibility. -The opportunity to progress into a full time contractual position after three months, which includes company benefits such as pension, healthcare, life assurance and other flexible benefits. -The ability to earn from 70-88 for a six-hour working day, dependent on the region you are working in and the successful achievement of your assignment, plus travel expenses, and performance bonus. -Personal development throughout your time with TNS UK and initial in-depth training for interviewers new to market research including a 12 week on the job training programme.
