I am currently working on behalf of a national charity providing person-centred support for people with learning disabilities in the UK. They are currently looking to appoint a strong Operations Manager to manage a number of supported living and outreach services in the Southend-on-Sea area. The role will have day to day responsibility for supporting 3 service managers within supported living services as well as ensuring that the outreach services in the area are ran to an excellent standard. You will take the lead on liaising with internal and external stakeholders, commissioning groups, local authorities and CQC inspectors to ensure the company maintains a strong presence in the area. The remit will be to ensure that the services, which have been under performing, are fully compliant and are run to the highest standard and that new opportunities are identified for growth opportunities Applicants looking to apply should have a proven track record of managing supported living services for service users suffering from learning disabilities to a high, fully compliant standard. They should have multi-site management experience, excellent communication skills at all levels and be a strong staff manager. They need someone who is much organised with strong planning skills.
