As an Operations Manager you will share our client?s passion for and commitment to providing high quality support. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a range of services across a geographical area. You will ensure that these services meet the needs and aspirations of people our client?s support as well as maintaining high standards and compliance with all regulatory and organisational requirements. Your work will closely with the Support Managers. You will also take part in a senior on call rota to ensure that our front line managers have access to support when it is needed. The Affinity Trust is a national charity that provides high-quality, personalised support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. They believe every person with a learning disability has a right to lead an active and fulfilling life and to enjoy greater control and independence. They provide support for people with learning disabilities, those who experience Autism and people with complex behaviours. To be successful in this position you will be committed to providing high quality services to people with disabilities. You will have proven ability to develop effective long term working relationships with people supported, families, commissioners and care managers. You will have a proven track record in leadership and management of managers and services in the social care sector and excellent communication to achieve positive outcomes. You will be a confident, positive person used to leading by example, and accustomed to working flexibly and being well organised and able to plan effectively. For this role the services will be managing support people who have a learning disability with associated health needs, mental health needs, needs that may challenge and/ or autism. You will line manage 3 or more Support Managers across Southend and Essex. Across this area they currently support 38 people, with 80 staff at present. In this area the services provided include supported living and outreach. The ability to travel to areas often not accessible by public transport is essential due to the need to visit services and attend meetings in other areas. A clean license and car ARE essential. In this role you will be required to be the CQC Registered Manager. You will need to have or be willing to work towards Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent qualification. Interviews are planned to take place on 22nd January at our Southend Office. They want you to have all the skills you need to support people in the best way possible so they provide all the training you need to do this (we pay you to attend all training). They can also support you to achieve the qualifications and experience you need to further your career. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £34,907 per annum.
