Job Summary A new opportunity has arisen for an ODP that would like to join the fantastic team at the Kent / Gillingham Treatment Centre. Key Responsibilities You will work under the Theatre Manager to maintain safe levels of patient care throughout any surgical or anaesthetic procedure; the practitioner must have current and adequate level of knowledge, competence, understanding and skill in the field of anaesthesia. You will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing and assessing care of patients and ensure that standards are met as per national and local guidelines, including National Frameworks. Skills & Experience To be successful in the role, you will have: * Relevant & recent experience in an operating theatre, anaesthetics and recovery room * knowledge of current research, key issues and development in theatre practice Qualifications * RGN or ODP with ENB 182/183 or C & G 752 * NVQ Level 3 in Operating Department Practice or Dip HE in Peri-operative Practice.
