Job description:
Pulse is currently working with a private mental health hospital in west London to source an OT to join their MDT on a permanent full time basis. This hospital provides rehabilitation services for patients suffering with eating disorders or personality disorders. Within this role, the successful candidate will manage a caseload of risk-assessed patients and use evidence-based principles and practice to assess, plan, and facilitate recovery-focused interventions for participation and independence. They will demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to work both autonomously and as a valued team member. Furthermore, they will be committed to maintaining continuous professional development for enhanced clinical knowledge and skills through participation in supervision and training. Reporting to the Head of Occupational Therapy, the successful candidate will be providing services on the Eating Disorder Unit. Experience working in inpatient mental health or eating disorders would be beneficial. This is a full time permanent vacancy with a salary of between £21,000-30,000 depending on experience.
