Contract opportunity for a NRSWA Permit officer Local Authority street works based in London. Key Skills: Fixed Penalty, NRSWA, Road work, Permit, Local Authority. The Role:. You will be responsible for coordinating street works and highway activities within the borough and ensuring the timely assessment and dissemination of permit applications to all work promoters. Including the assessment of traffic management systems and working methods submitted by work promoters. You will be expected to use industry specific interactive tools and have a comprehensive knowledge of current legislation and practices to meet the challenges of changing circumstances to ongoing work sites in order to minimise London traffic congestion. The Candidate:. Must be able to assess Local Authority Street Work Permit applications and coordinate highway activities. Work as part of a team. Identify notice contraventions under the permit scheme and issue Fixed Penalty Notices via the EToN system. Excellent I.T skills are required.
