Senior Node.js Developer £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits Surrey; Farnham, Aldershot, Fleet Senior Node.js Developer wanted by a market leading Digital/Social Media Company based near Farnham, Surrey. The role requires strong Node.js serverside skills and is expected to grow into a hands-on lead role as the team increases in size. You will have experience in server-side high performing software teams and a proven track record of delivering complex software projects. You will come from a Software engineering background and be able to influence senior stakeholders and be comfortable communicating with all levels of the business. Requirements: * Proven senior level Node.js, JavaScript development skills * 3-5 years+ of JavaScript experience in building server side applications * Experience with RESTful web services such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram API * In-depth understanding of JavaScript patterns/styles including both modular and object-oriented development * Excellent communicator who can lead teams a projects and be able to liaise with all levels if the business * Must have a good understanding of Agile practices Desirable: * TypeScript (or similar) experience * Cloud based storage integration and API usage; Dropbox, Google Drive is an advantage * Experience using Azure The company offers a great working environment and benefits package.
