We are looking for a night porter for a luxury Cotswolds Boutique Hotel. live in accommodation provided Starting work in the late evening and finishing early morning, you will be responsible for the safe and smooth running of the hotel during the night. This will include: Being responsible for the security of the hotel throughout the night Cover and maintain the reception and all public areas to the highest possible standard Being readily available at all times to deal with queries, problems or complaints during the night Ensuring that telephone calls are handled promptly and courteously Ensuring that any requests are dealt with courteously and efficiently Passing any room service order is reported to the restaurant team Ensuring compliance with licencing regulations. Ordering and delivering newspapers Making wake up calls when booked Doing a full shift handover. Perform any other duties required overnight, including the preparation of food & beverage items as per agreed policy & menu Report all potential and real hazards immediately Be fully aware of the Hotels Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations In order to succeed in this role you will need the following skills and experience: Excellent customer service and communications skills. Good industry knowledge f&b knowledge Trustworthy, reliable and calm under pressure. Able to act on your own initiative.
