Network Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator London to £35k Network Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator (Linux Networking Cloud). Innovative media software house is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to maintain and support core Linux infrastructure and systems. This company is setting the future direction for VFX in the film industry and frequently works with household names in film and television. As a Network Engineer you will install and maintain the company’s workstations, servers and network, proactively implementing improvements to existing systems and designing and building new applications. Training colleagues for new systems and assisting with issues, you will ensure that the company makes the best use of all available technology. Based in Central London with the opportunity to travel to other locations, this is a friendly, supportive workplace where you will work with the latest equipment in a technology-driven environment. Requirements: ·Strong Linux skills ·Networking experience, including load balancing and content switching ·Previous experience managing switches, routers and firewalls ·Knowledge of network services, SMTP, Apache, LDAP, Kerberos, NFS, DNS, DHCP and Samba ·Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) would be desirable As a Network Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator, you will earn a competitive salary (to £35k) as well as bonus and benefits package, including pension scheme.
