Job description:
A leading national electricity distribution network (DNO) is seeking engineers to work on this temporary CT metering project in the South West, South Wales and the Midlands areas. This essential work must be completed by the end of April but there is an opportunity for further work beyond that date. You will be allocated a company vehicle, PPE and all the necessary equipment required to undertake the role. As the CT Meter Technician / Engineer your duties will include: • Undertaking fitting, commissioning and installation checks for fault finding;• Working on a CT metering project to test and commission meters on both LV and HV networks; To be a successful Meter Technician / Engineer you will have the following skills and experience: • Experience of fitting CT meters is essential with ideally both LV and HV knowledge;• Be trained in single and three phase metering installations;• Excellent customer service;• Clean driving licence;• Good IT skills; In return you will receive a salary of £14 - £16 per hour depending on experience.
