Merchandiser - Grocery Department & Job Description We are currently looking for hard working and flexible individuals, to work within our Merchandising division on varied and exciting projects for major UK supermarkets across the London Region. Ideal candidates should have an interest or knowledge of the retail sector, preferably grocery. Experience in using planograms, merchandising products, & systems along with basic customer service skills would be advantageous. Further training, development and assessment will provide progression to more senior posts. Please Note that this is an intermittent role and work allocated is project dependant, therefore there may be occasions where you will not be offered work. Whilst we are currently very busy, we cannot offer guaranteed hours every week Roles and responsibilities • Merchandise & replenish shelves using planograms in the required timescales. • Profile shelving, install equipment & implement display options to a high standard. • Lifting and manual handling up to 25 kilos may be involved. • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and general housekeeping. Additional information • Starting basic rate at £10.00 per hour Holiday Pay • Flexible attitude towards working patterns/shifts • Work is on Temporary basis, this could consist of on-going projects on days, nights and weekends • Projects will be at various locations across Central London, you will be expected to travel up to one hour to project locations. • In addition to basic salary we offer a member discount scheme, reward and recognition awards and great career progression for the right applicants Successful candidates will be issued a temporary ‘Terms of Engagement’ contract if you are successful and for the avoidance of doubt, these Terms of Engagement shall not give rise to a contract of employment between the Company and the Temporary Worker, or the Client and the Temporary Worker. It is the intention of the parties that the Temporary Worker will not be an employee.
