Urgent Mechanical Design Role, Product Innovation, R & D, Essex, £42,000 Huxley Engineering are recruiting for one of their exclusive clients based in the Essex area. The company are looking for a permanent mechanical design engineer that really buzzes of 'full life cycle' new product development from concept design through to production. This is a great opportunity for an experience, enthusiastic mechanical design engineer to join a rapidly growing company and are very close to being global leaders within the industry they specialise in. In terms of research and development, these are high spec, innovative technology products used within a highly regulated industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in the below areas in order to qualify for interviews. - Experience in full life cycle product design and development is important - Experience in 'hands on' mechanical engineering i.e. product testing and prototype building - Experience within design for manufacture - Experience within sheet metal or plastic injection moulding would be an advantage but not essential - Experience within 3D CAD is important, ideally solid works but other CAD packages will be considered - Experience within working to the ISO 13485 standards would also be a big advantage but not essential Salary will be £36,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
