Join a renewable energy development firm specializing in helping public sector organisations innovate to reduce energy costs and their environmental footprints. The opportunity. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious graduate with a passion and knowledge for the low carbon sector, to work with and learn from a highly regarded industry figure. Were looking for someone committed to developing their career in the low carbon sector. Youll support the MD and senior team with a broad range of tasks including calendar management and assistance with proposals / presentations and the day to day running of the business. In addition, youll be given responsibility for projects based on your skill set and capability, these might include customer research, market analysis, EU and UK energy policy research, event management, perhaps even financial modeling if you have the skills. About you. Youre probably a graduate with an academic background in Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, Economics, Sustainability or similar subjects, regardless, you will be seriously interested and knowledgeable about the low carbon sector. Wed expect you to have some solid work experience working for a fast paced company in the low carbon sector, a solar energy development or investment firm ideally. Your work experience could be as an EA or potentially in project management, business support, marketing, finance or tech functions. Youre very well organized, with strong communication skills and a broad skill set. Essential Skills:. Demonstrable passion for the low carbon sector. Degree level education in low carbon related subject. Renewable Energy sector knowledge, preferably solar PV experience. Excellent organisational skills. Great communication skills, including fluent English (oral wand written). Confident presentation with good team working skills. Advanced IT skills, MS office suite - word, powerpoint, excel. Right to work in E.U and ability to work in the office in Swindon with some business travel. Remuneration. The base salary range is quite large and will be offered based on the level of experience. Range is likely £18,000 - £35,000 for a 40 hour week, plus some nice benefits.
