Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine (3 month winter cover) Applications are welcome for Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to cover winter period for 3 months. The post holder will run two wards over the winter period for three months with one SPR and 4 SHOs across the two wards. Each ward has 19 beds, mostly side rooms. The post holder will work Monday to Friday 0900-1700 providing daily morning ward rounds and afternoon ward/board round on all patients across these wards. The patients will be a mixture of general medicine, short stay, cardiology (awaiting cardiology bed) and care of the elderly long and short stay.
