A market leader in the healthcare insurance solutions arena requires an Internal Broker Development Executive in central Liverpool to focus on new business within the UK intermediary market. SALARY: £26,266 - £30,500, OTE; £35,000 BENEFITS: Bonus, Healthcare Cash Plan, 25 days holidays plus statutory days, contributory pension LOCATION: Liverpool JOB SPECIFICATION: As an Internal Broker Development Executive your role will be to identify, acquire and develop new business to agreed sales targets within the intermediary market. You will target insurance broker, intermediaries and employee benefits consultancies. Based internally in our Liverpool head office and reporting to the Sales Manager your primary tasks will be to, * Build and maintain relationships with new brokers and intermediary’s, this is a new business role and 100% of your focus will be on attracting new brokers to our portfolio. * Influence decision makers and close opportunities. * Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of all company products. * Assess and propose development opportunities to gain growth in Cash Plan Business. * Be aware and alive to the activities of the competition and identify opportunities. REQUIREMENTS - Internal Broker Development Executive Ultimately as a Broker Development Executive you will thrive on seeking out and initiating relationships with new brokers and intermediary’s. You will enjoy communicating and creating sales and whilst working towards an agreed target you will relish the opportunity to build a career with an established UK market leader. We would welcome applications from people meeting the following criteria: * A proven history of working within a Broker or Intermediary environment. * Experience of working within sales in general insurance, PMI, healthcare trusts or cash plan markets. * Experienced internal sales people within the insurance industry with an understanding of broker/intermediary management, direct sales and FCA regulation.
