Job description:
JOB DUTIES : Main responsibilities: Deal with grievances, investigations and disciplinary hearings. Complete the annual monitoring return for the Equality Commission and the 3 yearly Article 55 return. Undertake all company inductions for new starters and ensuring all paperwork is completed and identification and driving documents (if required for that role) are placed on file. Recruit staff, developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing advertisements and placing on the relevant job boards, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates. Collate and sign off all monthly overtime. Gather daily absence information and keeping accurate records to ensure the correct deductions are processed via payroll. Authorise employee annual leave applications and keeping accurate records. Responsible for the administration of the clocking in and out system. Minimal education level:
Essential Criteria: GCSE Maths and English Language passed at grade C or above (or equivalent) together with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role with a working knowledge of HR related issues; Or a minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and IT skills (competent in the use of Microsoft Office). Previous experience dealing with investigations/disciplinary/grievance hearings. Experience collating candidate and employee information for the annual monitoring return for the Equality Commission. Due to the nature of the business flexibility is required to attend meetings outside of normal office hours (8:30am-4:30pm) as and when required. Experience in recruitment and selection. Desirable Criteria: CIPD Graduate/Associate Membership or working towards. Experience completing the 3 yearly Article 55 for the Equality Commission.
