We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver with previous experience of operating Hiab equipment to join our busy Delivery Team. We are looking for a customer focused individual to represent our brand and work in partnership with our customers. As a Hiab Driver you will help us to provide a delivery and collection service which enables TRavis Perkins to offer greater flexibility for our customers to have the products they need, where and when they need them. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a company vehicle ensuring that Health and Safety, Road Transport and Traffic Legislation Standards are met at all times. Whilst the majority of the time you will be driving a Hiab vehicle, there will also be the opportunity to carry out other types of work including operating a fork lift truck. We are looking for candidates with:. A Class 2 HGV Driving Licence or above. Previous experience in the operation of Hiab equipment, specifically crane experience trained by a recognised trainer (preferably remote). Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers. Ability to work on your own initiative and work as part of a team. Confident, positive and ‘can do attitude. Fork Lift Truck experience and qualification (desirable). Flexibility to cover weekdays, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
