This family run Construction Company that has been established for over 100 years are looking to expand their help desk with proactive and enthusiastic individuals. Ideally you will live local to Basingstoke and be available for interviews as soon as possible. The job role would include various key aspects, some of which are detailed below:. * Ensure all Purchase Orders are completed to an agreed format and. * Production of timely and accurate management information. * Take ownership of the tasks they complete to contribute to increased efficiencies in the Labour/Buying Desk Processes. * Resolve any queries in relation to orders placed appropriately and efficiently with suppliers and site surveyors. * Ensure a customer focused approach is provided at all times. * Work in a way that ensures disputes or complaints raised with the Labour/Buying Desk are avoided or minimised. * General administration duties that support the successful operation of the Labour/Buying Desk. This role requires good skills and experience of:. * Ability to meet deadlines without the need for prompting. * Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner. * Interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships. * Proficient in MS Office suite. * Ability to work autonomously and as part of team. * Knowledge of CIS preferred. * Experience of creating and placing purchase orders on Unison or other platforms. * Experience of working within a team environment. * Experience of purchase ledger and invoice approval. * Experience of working in a customer focused role.
