Our client provide professional consultancy services for projects of any size, ranging from condition surveys for existing property to full design and management for major capital projects. Due to an increasing workload they now have a requirement for a Head of Engineering who will report directly to the Managing Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career minded, chartered civil or structural engineer The Role: Opportunity to lead the engineering design consultancy business (Civil, structural, geotechnical and security- for the construction industry) Reporting to the MD Role Location: South London – office location Croydon but role requires travel so flexible on location for the right candidate Qualification: Professionally qualified in a construction related discipline, civil or structural engineering preferred Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team to lead the business in 2016 and beyond, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a lead role in a design consultancy business. The ideal candidate: Will have experience of managing P&L, business development, leading teams and delivery of design solutions. Will join the Senior Leadership Team of a professional services consultancy – ltd company and part of the larger PLC organisation. Enthusiastic, with ideas on how to shape the business and create a strategy to develop the business going forward. Should be able to engage with clients, staff, other consultants and stakeholders. Much of the role will be about bringing new ideas to the business to link it to opportunities in the market place relevant to an engineering design business. Someone who may at present be delivering in an Associate Director Role & ready to progress with their career Prospects are fantastic and the starting salary is very competitive.
