Graduate Support Analyst - eFX - Unix - Oracle - London My client a Tier One Investment bank based in Canary Wharf, is looking for a Graduate Support Analyst to join a growing project within the 1st Line Support team facing off directly to eFX trading desk. This role is a rare opportunity for Graduates or a candidate with under 2 years industry experience to come on board to a contract role that will offer a career development opportunity. It is essential that candidates have a particularly strong education; being educated to either degree or Masters level achieving a minimum of a 2:1 from a top tier red brick University (preferably in Computer Science). The candidate will need to have a strong attitude, keen to learn with particularly strong Unix and Oracle skills and a keen interest in front office trading projects. The client has stated that it is essential than candidates have a basic understanding of Unix scripting and the ability to query an Oracle database. The candidate will come on board to work within the Credit and Rates team with a focus on Derivatives Regulatory Reform projects globally. They candidate will gain extensive front office exposure and have visibility of a significant number of trading platforms and will have day to day interaction with various Trading desks. The client is in the midst of a large period of growth within this area and the successful candidate will become a key part of departmental change. Skills: * Junior Support Analyst * Graduate level or under 2 years' experience * Enthusiastic and hungry * Minimum 2:1 degree from a top tier red brick University (preferably in Computer Science) * Basic Oracle skills * Basic Unix skills * Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills * Demonstration of logical thinking * Good understanding of Windows server and desktop environments, for application layer support * Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Self-Motivated * Diligence to detail * Ability to perform in a high pressure environment * Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment * Strong verbal and written communication skills Ikas International Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
