Hammonds, UK's largest choice of fitted furniture company requires a self-employed Furniture Surveyor to cover the Abingdon area. You can potentially earn between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. Due to our on going commitment to our customers we are seeking a self-employed Furniture Surveyor to consolidate the sale of bedroom or home office furniture. As a Hammonds self-employed Furniture Surveyor your primary role is to ensure that the design of their new furniture works. In doing this you are to ensure that the design purchased is fit for purpose. You will be meeting our customers at their homes and re-measuring & re-drawing the design using ArtiCAD to produce an accurate and comprehensive bill of materials to ensure the installation is completed the first time. We expect once trained that you are capable of working to our business target of 97% accuracy rate. To become our self-employed Furniture Surveyor, you will need be computer and numerate literate and have some building construction knowledge. You will need to have your own car, a laptop that is capable of running ArtiCAD design programme, a broadband internet connection, an iPad/iPhone (to use the Hammonds app) and measuring equipment. We provide paid training on ArtiCAD and Hammonds products at our Head office in Leicestershire where hotel accommodation will be provided for you. We also give on-site support to help you to develop your skills and knowledge. In return for your experience, passion, commitment, drive and performance, Hammonds pay you promptly each week 2 weeks in hand and you will have the comfort of working with a family business that is outperforming the market with more outlets coming on stream throughout 2015/16. You can also expect to earn £35,000-£40,000 per annum as a self employed Surveyor at Hammonds Furniture Ltd. As our Furniture Surveyor you will be covering areas including Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford and surrounding areas and travel allowance is paid if working out of area.
