Applications are invited for the following post to be effective as soon as possible. £18,545 - £34,273* pro rata, per annum (*for qualified staff) Fractional Lecturer in Criminology (0.6 FTE) (22 hours per week/52 weeks per year) The Directorate of Academic and Progression Studies has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for Criminology and hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners, to work within quality procedures and to enhance the programme’s external connections. Ideally you should have experience of teaching and managing A Level Criminology. Possession of a teacher training qualification would also be an advantage as would the ability to offer teaching across other classroom based and work based qualifications such as BTEC’s, NVQ’s etc. However a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification would be acceptable.
