Brief Outline: Estimator - Main Contracting - £60k-£70k - North London. Excellent opportunity for a progressive and ambitious estimator to join an award-winning long established main contractor. The contractor has been established for over 50 years and has a turnover of £30m. They are seeking an experienced estimator to join a knowledgeable and skilled team to focus on pricing new works, procurement, quality and working on PQQs. About the Client: Estimator - Main Contracting - £60k-£70k - North London. A multi-disciplined main contractor with an impressive and varied client base including local authorities, developers, architects, housing associations and consultants. They have been awarded new frameworks and contracts so now require an experienced estimator. The projects will include new build and refurbishments to schools, care homes, private client projects and social housing refurbishment. About the Role: * Estimator - Main Contracting - £60k-£70k - North London * Prepare tenders/bids/budget proposals * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive and accurate quotations * Attend pre-contract, bid and client meetings throughout tender process * Work closely with preconstruction team to plan and submit PQQs * Ensure competitive pricing as well as achieving a high quality outcome * Develop programme and method statements About the Candidate: * Estimator - Main Contracting - £60k-£70k - North London * Main contracting experience preferred * Forward-thinking and progressive minded * Minimum 5 years experience in an estimating/surveying role * UK project/framework experience essential * Excellent organisation, planning and time management ability.
