I am currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join an established engineering company in Lancashire. The working environment is excellent with state of the purpose built facilities and equipment in their main factory and also their R&D hub, so the engineers are rather spoilt for the kit they get to interact with on a daily basis. The opportunity is for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with analogue electronics design experience to join the R&D team working on the companies products across the board. You will be working with talented Mechanical, Software, Electrical and Electronics, PCB Layout Engineers and physicist to develop existing and new products. You will be involved in:. o The Design Process - Designing both digital and analogue electronic products. o Product Verification - Verify the design through virtual modelling, building and exercising of the product. o Modifying Designs and Re-testing - repeating this stage to ensure that a product is fit and designed for manufacture. o Producing reports - writing and presenting regular progress reports for projects. And you must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in:. o Working inline with national and international standards. o Electronic design and development. o CAD skills e.g. circuit schematic and PCB layout. o Quality Management systems and processes. o The use of electronic test equipment and virtual modelling software. o Competency in Microsoft Office applications. o Strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities. o Meeting deadlines and managing business expectations. o Production issues effecting product design. o Electromagnetic Magnetic Interference and Immunity performance. o Software with the ability to develop product firmware.
