Deputy Home Manager Salary: up to £36,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Hours of work: 37.5 hours Location: Birmingham To facilitate our ongoing success, we are now seeking applications for a Deputy Home Manager at our York service to lead and support the nursing team in both the core service and our transitional ventilated unit, supporting the Registered Home Manager in maintaining excellent standards and continuity of care for our residents. You will also ensure all relevant paperwork is kept up to date and take delegated responsibility for the medication process. The ideal candidate for this position will: * Have an interest in neurological conditions and a proven track record of experience in the acute rehabilitation field, alongside a solid understanding of the brain injury rehabilitation field. * Be RGN qualified * Be willing to commence a Level 4 Diploma or hold an equivalent qualification in leadership. * Be a forward thinking individual who is confident in their approach to internal and external stakeholders. * Demonstrate a motivational leadership style that encourages others to achieve. * Confidently coach and mentor staff. * Have good time management and organisational skills. * Have a proven track record in team working and leadership skills. * Have good computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer. * Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and oral English). * Be effective at personal organisation and planning. * Be able to problem solve in a demanding environment. * Be able to use own initiative and creativity to enhance the productivity of the home. * Possess a genuine desire to develop their own career and help others to develop their skills and experience. * Be able to work within a formalised company structure, ensuring professional integrity and the highest standards of care. * Have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance and requirements, i.e. SOVA, MCA, DOLS, CQC
