There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. These facts get more complicated when you look at them from a local level. West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton & Hove have the largest over-80's population in England and there are already around 27,451 people with dementia across this geographical area. So it will come as no surprise that we can offer you a stimulating and challenging career as part of our local team. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our East Sussex Dementia Adviser Service based in our Peacehaven office. We are looking for an individual who has a demonstrable knowledge of dementia. You will possess an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) or relevant experience. It is desirable that you have experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies. You must be able to travel independently within the area.
