Database Support Analyst / Data Manager - (MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle). An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Database Support Analyst / Data Manager to join an award winning organisation based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The successful Database Support Analyst will use their extensive skills to load, format, manipulate, process and transform data files in the MySQL Database (although SQL Server or Oracle will be considered as your skills can be easily transferred.) This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent skills in Data to take the next step in there career in which you will learn new exciting data technologies. The main responsibilities as a Data Manager will be to translate defined processing rules into efficient program code using MySQL. You will also have the responsibility to produce counts, extracts and reports from data files and managed databases. You will have the chance to communicate across the business to help make business critical decisions. Skills needed to be the Database Support Analyst /Data Manager- (MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle):. - Have an understanding of either MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server (any database is acceptable as you will be cross trained). - Ability to communicate with various stakeholders. - Knowledge on loading, formatting, processing or transforming data files. - Ability to produce data reports. Any knowledge on database marketing or e-mail campaigns are desirable but no means essential as full training will be provided. The database you will be working with is MySQL, if you are currently working with SQL Server or Oracle this is acceptable as full training will be provided. Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 + (great working hours, 25 days holiday, Health care and Pension). Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
