Data Analyst (Excel) is urgently required by our Global IT Outsourcing Client for an initial contract until 31st May 2016 to be based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:. - creating and keeping key data stores up to date from multiple sources (verbal, email, existing data stores, actions/updates collated from meetings). - analysing data to provide MI for effective decision making. - providing and developing regular management information and reporting - some of which will be shared with senior management and the Customer. - presenting results to key stakeholders primarily Project Managers and Programme Team. - interaction with customer in working group sessions. - Supporting the PM in key data collection, analysis and reporting activities. - support to Programme lead - in senior MI reporting (internal and external). To be successful you will have the following experience:. - Strong excel skills including look ups and graphs. - powerpoint skills (desirable). - organised. - self starter, able to multi task. - quick learner, able to pick up complex concepts - able to adapt style to gather data from numerous sources and 'busy' people.
