Data Administrator My Local are a new 130 strong convenience store chain throughout the UK with plans to open new stores in the future. The company is led by the proven retail expertise of Mike Greene and a leadership team backed by Greybull Capital. My Local aims to become the best independent convenience chain in the UK. A key element of the business will be to ensure a focus on products sold instore being sourced locally. Position: Trading Administrator x 4 Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Role Type: 2 x 4 Month FTC and 2 x 6 month temp to perm. Salary: £16,000 - £17,000 per annum About the Role: These Data Administrator positions are available in Peterborough needing someone with experience in handling high volumes of data. Within the role you will be checking and cleansing data on the internal administration systems and undertaking central system mainframe data administration. You will also research and investigate data irregularities / anomalies and update relevant computer systems on receipt of missing information. In addition you will manage workload using spreadsheets and conflicting data. You will also provide management information relevant to the role About You: To be successful in the role, you will be IT literate and have a comprehensive understanding of Windows based programmes to include Word, Excel and Outlook. With excellent organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail and accuracy, you will have previous experience in a support function. In addition you will have the ability to collect and analyse information in a systematic manner that results in problems and solutions being identified. You will also possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously. A strong understanding of data from a commercial point of view would also be required. Retail experience would be preferred but is not essential to the role.
