Advert Renfrewshire Council’s Customer Service Unit provides Face to Face, Telephone and E-mail support to the 170,000 residents of the area. The team are based in the Customer Service Centre and Contact Centre in Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley and in Customer Service Points in Renfrew and Johnstone. Reporting to the Customer Services Support Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by dealing with members of the public in an effective and timely manner. The successful applicant will offer the highest possible level of service to all customers, be flexible in their approach to working and driven to always find a solution for the customer no matter what the circumstances. . It is essential that you have experience of; working within a customer service environment (Face to Face or Telephone); working with the public and working in a team environment. It is also essential that you have knowledge of standard computer software packages (e.g. Microsoft office) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications, and are customer focused with a flexible approach to resolving customer issues. It is desirable that you have experience of; providing both Face to Face and Telephone service to customers; working in a Local Authority environment and using Lagan CRM. An SVQ Level 2 in Customer Service (or equivalent) and knowledge of Public Sector services is also desirable. . If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
