Job Title: 1st Line EPoS/IT Support Job Location: Head Office, Newport, South Wales Duration: Six Months Probation to Permanent. Salary / Package: Basic up to £18,000 - £20,000.00 per annum (+overtime), + pension, + private health care + On-Call Bonus. **Please do not apply unless you have Telephony/Contact Center/Call Centre/Helpdesk and IT experience, thank you. *This position will be Mon-Friday 9am-5:30pm for a 'few months/training' then will rotate with Tue-Saturday also. *Shifts will rotate after few months with 11:30am-8pm as well as 9am-5:30pm. 8.5hrs a day with 1hr lunch on a Shift basis (covering core hours of the Support Desk 8am-8pm. Main Responsibilities: - Managing in-bound support calls from customers - Logging calls on our internal CRM solution - Finding a timely and suitable resolution to the problem/query - Communicate and escalate with other members of team - Be proactive in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems Skills &Knowledge: - 'Customer first' attitude and a desire to deliver outstanding support to our customers - Excellent telephone manner and first class communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to learn fast - High level of organisational skills - Software skills - excellent knowledge of Windows (XP/Server/Windows Mobile), - Windows services, and networking principles (DHCP/routing/wireless 802.11) - Troubleshooting both PC based PoS hardware, PoS Printers, and handheld devices - Be fluent around a range of other programs such as MS Office, VNC (remote control software) - Support on-call rota out of hours includes weekends and up to midnight (with additional pay) - Experience in providing IT and/or EPoS support to end users/customers is essential This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly team and use their skills to deliver a high level of support to our customers with a great package and excellent working environment.
