Our Finance directorate are looking for a Contracts Manager to lead a directorate management team that enables internal stakeholders to become commercially focused in their utilisation of budgets, to implement innovative solutions to achieve significant and sustainable cost improvements whilst delivering high quality care to their patients and service users. You will provide guidance and active process support for procurement and strategic sourcing projects for key stakeholders as well as working collaboratively to influence partners and modifies embedded cultural changes so that inclusive planning and delivery of the Trust’s strategic aims are achieved. This is a full time permanent post of 37.5 hours per week. Southend is a lively and vibrant seaside town, most famous for having the world’s longest pier. It boasts excellent road and rail communications – central London is less than an hour away by train and the newly-expanded airport is introducing new routes all the time. The town is renowned for its wide variety of cultural and sporting opportunities, with top-class theatres, arts and music festivals and water sports.
