An opportunity has arisen for a committed consultant psychiatrist to provide leadership to the community learning disability team in North Norfolk, at a time of unprecedented investment and development in community learning disability services. Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) provides specialist mental health and learning disability services within the East of England. This post is an established cornerstone of the Trusts specialist community psychiatric services for people with a learning disability in the north of Norfolk. It is a reflection of this Trusts aim "to become the leading provider of mental health and specialist learning disability services in the country". The successful applicant will provide clinical direction and leadership to a dynamic multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers and therapists, all dedicated to meeting the needs of the people with intellectual disabilities living in North Norfolk. All services offered by the team are community focused and delivered in out-patient clinics and home visits.
