£30,000 to £40,000 (Very Flexible) Plus Bonus + Benefits including Health Care. East or West Midlands Based. A great opportunity to come in as a Manager and become the Technical Director (within the next two or three years) of a well established business, the package on offer is flexible to match most backgrounds/experience and will be made to fit the most suitable candidate ... you may currently be a Technical Manager, Team Leader or perhaps a Senior Designer with good Man Management skills, a lot of confidence and ambition. You will be joining an established market leading company reporting directly to the MD, managing a team of 10 in the design and technical side of the business. Whilst the role is very hands on leading from the front getting involved in AutoCAD on a daily basis in addition to overseeing the team checking and authorising their work before it goes out we need a good strong character with the ambition and drive to become the Technical Director within the next few years. This is an exciting time to be joining the company, after 25 years the founding directors are ready to hand the reigns over to the next generation of Managers and Directors the recently appointed MD has had an interest in the business for many years and brings a fresh approach to an already successful formula. You will be working in a busy friendly open plan office environment, managing a relatively young and ambitious highly motivated team of CAD Designers looking for a manager to come in and guide them to even greater success. *You will ideally have a Technical Degree, extensive experience in AutoCAD. * A Construction background, technical design of perhaps Flooring, Roofing or familiar with the calculation of Loads within weight bearing applications. *Commutable to the West Midlands based perhaps Birmingham, Coventry, Derby areas. *Confident Man Manager with the drive and ambition to become the Technical Director within the next few years. ... to find out more or for a confidential discussion please forward your CV to John Hutchinson.
