Job description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a building and refurbishment company based in London. They have an office in Chelsea and a construction depot in Cricklewood. Due to company expansion, they are seeking a hard working Project Coordinator with an interest in property development and construction who can come on board and hit the ground running! Main duties as Project Coordinator / Finance Controller: - Producing accurate quotes for upcoming/potential business, with help from a company Director to begin with. - Delivering and discussing these quotes with your clients - presenting directly to clients in the showroom when required. - Identifying new tender opportunities. - Helping with tender applications. - Following up on new tender applications. - Meeting with potential clients to discuss the company with them. - Taking briefs on new projects. - Taking clients on site visits to completed or part-completed projects. - Assisting with general project management and project coordination including taking materials to site if required. - Taking an interest and learning the basics of construction including shell/core construction and fit outs. - Co-ordinating with site staff and suppliers. - Constantly working with suppliers to achieve best prices and service. - Assisting in project handover and snagging. Key skills/interests required for this Project Coordinator position: - An interest in property development and construction. - 1+ year of administration experience. - A property or construction related degree would be ideal, but definitely not essential. - Excellent administrative skills with a methodical approach. - Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. - High levels of numeracy and accuracy with a keen eye for detail. - The ability to manage own workload without direction. - Articulate, well presented with a friendly personable approach. - Must have a driving license If you are passionate about what you do, can take ownership of a role with drive and intuition and would like to be part of an inspiring and exciting business then they would love to hear from you!
