If the answer to the above is yes, we may have the job for you!  As the key provider of daily Conference & Event services at the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh First Supervisors are the face of what we do, overseeing a diverse portfolio of events across all University campuses and unique venues throughout the City of Edinburgh. Events range from small meetings and intimate dinners, to high volume, high profile conferences and banquets, as well as everything in between.  This is a diverse role incorporating all aspects of hospitality and catering.  What are we looking for? Passion, self-motivation, excellent attention to detail and outstanding organisation skills.  You should be an experienced Conference and Banqueting Assistant looking to take the next step in their career or a current Conference and Banqueting Supervisor looking to challenge themselves and progress their career in an exciting, fast-paced hospitality environment.  Experience in 4- or 5-star hotel conference and banqueting, large scale event catering and/or high volume, multi-site hospitality operations is desirable, as is knowledge of Scottish Licencing Laws and Microsoft computer packages.
