Belzona is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of polymer repair composites and industrial protective coatings.  The Company’s illustrious history has led to it becoming an internationally recognised name in industrial maintenance.  Our products are used for on-site applications in the areas of machinery and equipment repair, protective coatings, advanced leak-sealing and energy-efficiency enhancement.    Belzona Technosol Ltd, the contracting Division of Belzona Polymerics Ltd are seeking a Compliance Officer to manage and co-ordinate our Management Systems.  The role will require the Compliance Officer to develop a close working relationship with all BTL employees, sub-contract companies, and customers, the BPL Technical Co-ordinator, BPL Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management, the UK Sales Management Team and the UK sales force.   Responsibilities: ·         Ensure BTL has robust, effective management systems and that BTL operates in full compliance with both ISO9001 and OHSAS 18001 2007 ensuring that the recommendations of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 are maintained. ·         Ensure that both the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems are reviewed, maintained, regularly audited and updated in line with the standards and recommendations arising from internal Management systems meetings. ·         Actively look for opportunities to improve management systems performance and make recommendations to the board of Directors. ·         Prepare current status reports for presentation at system Management meetings. ·         Ensure that all Site H&S matters are identified, risk assessed, communicated and compliance monitored. ·         Undertake workplace risk assessments when required. ·         Undertake regular site H&S audits UK wide, for subcontract applications and for own Direct Labour applications and also BTL premises (Wrexham, Harrogate Avonmouth and Grangemouth). ·         Ensure Sub Contract H&S compliance, verification, assessment, vetting and development. ·         Maintain, update and reissue all COSHH assessments for Belzona materials (and accessories as appropriate). ·         Complete all relevant company forms, processes and procedures. ·         Review, compile and amend all compliance system procedures ·         Carry out accident and injury investigations to determine root cause, communicate all results and findings and recommend any preventive actions which are appropriate. ·         There will be frequent travel to our other sites in Wrexham, Bristol and Grangemouth, Scotland.     Person Specification: The successful candidate must: ·         Hold suitable professional qualifications with respect to both Quality and H&S Management system to a minimum level of Tech IOSH. ·         IRCA  Registered Lead Auditor or equivalent registration an advantage. ·         Have experience in co-ordinating compliance requirements through overseeing a workforce. ·         Have experience of record keeping and compliance reporting. ·         Have the ability to accurately produce Risk Assessments within
